Redington Case Study

Redington are one of the UK's leading Pensions and Asset Management firms. They are well known by their clients for putting on fabulous events and approached Jascots with a simple request - to put on a fantastic, energetic and fun event for 40 - 60 clients and staff.

The Jascots Wine Championship fitted perfectly with their expectations, and following a meeting between Redington's co-CEO and Jascots' host Ben Scott, the deal was sealed.

After considering several venues, Redington decided to use one of Jascots' trusted partners - The Durrants Hotel - in London's West End. This gave them the reassurance they were seeking that the venue knew what to expect and what services they needed to provide to ensure that the evening ran smoothly from start to finish.

With the date fixed and the venue booked, Jascots set to the task of picking the wines for the event and booking in the delivery and collection with the venue. Redington were told that they could relax and leave all the details to us - all they needed to do was invite their clients!

On the day, the Jascots team arrived at the venue 2 hours before the start time to set up. This ensured that by the time Redington and their guests arrived all the wines were ready and the prize table had been set up. After a champagne reception, we were ready to go, and from the off the room was electric, with plenty of laughs, cheers and groans as the guests tasted the wines and totted up their scores. With Ben's energetic performance the evening flew by, and before we knew it the Championship was over and it was time for the serious business - drinking the Imperials of Bordeaux that Jascots supplied for an after-show tipple, along with enjoying the delicious dinner provided by The Durrants Hotel.
